Reliability analysis
Probabilistic Methodology Design System PROMETHEUS is a platform for probabilistic engineering computations. It consists of a computational core where a library of reliability analysis techniques has been implemented along with a number of external modules for specific applications.   By now PROMETHEUS is able to apply different reliability analysis techniques (Monte Carlo, Latin Hypercube, Importance Sampling, Spherical Sampling, FORM, SORM) using twelve probability distributions and it allows user-defined limit state functions. Its external modules are able to perform probabilistic fracture mechanics including EIFS (equivalent initial flaw size) concept, foreign object damage (F.O.D), fatigue damage, patch repair and gas turbine engine faults diagnosis. Many other techniques such as Advanced First Order, Adaptive Importance Sampling, Adaptive Response Surface, Advanced Mean Value, MPP are used in order to perform Reliability Analysis.
